The 5 video effects I use most: one prompt each, ready to paste

Zoom, shatter, slam, marker and a typed prompt. Claude Code writes each one as code, and HyperFrames renders the video on your own computer. Here is the one-line prompt for each, so you can add them to your next video.

What you need first

HyperFrames turns HTML and animation code into an MP4. It renders on your computer with headless Chrome and FFmpeg. The repo says it has "no per-render fees or commercial-use thresholds".

How to use the prompts

  1. Open Claude Code in your HyperFrames video folder.
  2. Paste one prompt. Swap the words in [brackets] and the time for your own.
  3. Look at the preview, ask for changes in plain words ("slower", "bigger", "half a second later").
  4. Ask Claude to render it. The MP4 lands in your folder.

One effect per prompt works best. Add the next one after the first looks right.

The 5 effect prompts

1. Zoom: the camera jumps to the word that matters

Paste this

Using /hyperframes, add a fast zoom on the word "[free]" at 0:03: scale up to 1.8x in 0.3 seconds with an ease-out, hold it for one second, then ease back out.

2. Shatter: the old card breaks and the answer shows

Paste this

Using /hyperframes, at 0:05 make the "[Choose a plan]" card crack and shatter into 16 pieces that fall away, and reveal "[Free on your computer]" on a bright card underneath.

3. Slam: a giant step number hits the screen

Paste this

Using /hyperframes, at 0:08 slam a giant "STEP [3]" onto the screen: start at 160% size with a blur, land in 4 frames, add a 2-frame shake, then let it drift slowly.

4. Marker: a yellow line under the proof

Paste this

Using /hyperframes, at 0:12 show [the article or page] tilted slightly in 3D, then draw a yellow highlighter under the line "[your sentence]" from left to right in 0.35 seconds and zoom in a little.

5. Typed prompt: the words appear letter by letter, then run

Paste this

Using /hyperframes, at 0:15 type "[your prompt]" into a chat box letter by letter at 24 characters a second, then press the send button and show the answer coming in.

If it doesn't work

  1. /hyperframes doesn't show up: restart Claude Code. Still nothing? Follow the setup page above again.
  2. The effect lands at the wrong moment: tell Claude the exact second or the exact word ("on the word free, not before").
  3. The render fails: run npx hyperframes doctor and paste the output into Claude Code. It's usually a missing FFmpeg or an old Node version.
  4. It looks cheap: ask for "ease-out, no bounce" and "keep everything moving a little". That's what I ask for in every video.

The honest part

This is how it looks as of October 2026. Plans and menus change.
